I am inspired to write this today with an important question. If you were to die today, what would you bring with you?
I found out that a dear friend went ‘Home’ today at the young age of 52 and left behind 4 children. It wasn’t sudden like a car crash, as she had a diagnosis to sit with for close to 2 years.
Some of us will go suddenly through accidental death and that is why I think it is important to ask ourselves that question.
If a Spiritual Being approached you and said … “you’ve got ‘x’ amount of days to remain here in the physical, what will you bring with you?”
Will you want to spend those last days unpacking old resentments and guilt and judgement from your physical cellular memories?
Let’s not wait … let’s be mindful to decide what to purge and release now. We have no idea how powerful this purge could be. What if we release just one thing today, such as judgement? What if you practice saying a prayer of love when you watch the news? What if you say a prayer of love to yourself when you look in the mirror and almost judge what you see, but STOP just in time?
Just imagine how this would affect you when it’s time to look at your own ‘Life Review?’ As I understand this, there is no one judging us on ‘judgement day’ … it is us that gets to do that.
If one out of every 10 people that read this cleans up the toxic habit of judging self and others … what a beautiful gift that would be. It’s an investment in your future. It pays way more than any life insurance policy does. This is ‘Spiritual Currency’ and you don’t have to die to reap the benefits …
Instead of judging self & others … let’s pack love and kindness into our suitcases. I believe that our mission here in this life is to return to love. The scales of justice are out of whack and it starts with us!
Since we will all go ‘Home’ one day, let’s start right now to have Gratitude & Goodness in our hearts and resolve to take pause from judgement.
Give yourself a kind word and find something to be grateful for, and then expand it!
