Feeling stuck is uncomfortable yet we somehow adjust, and after a while, we get complacent and give in to the belief that we can’t move forward with our dreams.
Somewhere deep inside, we are coping with the disappointment of not having what we want, so we develop a strategy to manage the discomfort and that stops the dream.
It might feel like we are doing what needs to be done so that we stop feeling sick of being stuck, but we are actually giving up because fear of the unknown is stronger than feeling stuck.
So, to stay safe we will chose stuck over change only because we know it so well.
Pause for a moment and play with choice in a different way …
If it is uncomfortable to be stuck and it is uncomfortable to change, then why not just get comfortable with discomfort?
When the comfort zone expands into being familiar with change and discomfort, the possibilities are endless!
Endless change and endless discomfort = lots of success with new things. Even better, if I am doing it on purpose, then I am in charge of change and that is very comforting.
What would it be like if we knew that Change Is Fun?
