Hi everyone.
In the Spirit of the holiday season known as Christmas, let’s gather up our different aged younger parts and allow ourselves to receive love.
As you know, I love metaphors …
Think about an email that appears to get lost in cyber space or programs that just won’t download onto the computer.
Where exactly are they? It feels like they are floating somewhere out in the cosmos. Maybe the email is waiting on the other side of the wall behind where my computer sits … maybe the program is on my screen underneath a page that I can’t see.
Sometimes, all I have to do is tweak something on the keyboard and the the email pops into my inbox, or the program magically starts to download after I push a few buttons.
If I can’t make it work, frustration creeps in and it can affect my whole day.
Meanwhile, I might not know how close I actually am to achieving success with that glitchy technical stuff. It is just an awareness away …
Our Inner Child is similar in that it might feel as if parts of us are in some kind of Cosmic Cyber Orphanage just waiting for us to hit the right button. They (all of our disconnected younger wounded parts) are there, but we don’t know it. They are close, but not close.
Again, the feeling of frustration is felt and it is palpable.
How our world would change if we worked as hard to find the download for our inner child parts as we do to get our emails and programs out of the glitchy zone.
Please love all the frustrated parts of you now and start the new year off with more kindness and love for the shadow that walks right beside you everywhere you go.
Give yourself the gift of Love every day from now on …
Love that Inner You ♥
Sending you my very best wishes,
Dana
