Be the one with the clear grounded emotional state and you will be the medicine for someone in need.
Calm loving words given to a friend, family member or a stranger IS a source of medicine … we just need to remember that we have a huge supply of this natural resource waiting to be called upon.
We are all in this schoolroom together to learn that race, politics and status do not need to define our human journey. This is an opportunity to come together even if we are physically and socially distancing our contact with others.
Who can you be kind and compassionate to today? Do you have an elderly neighbour that you could offer kindness to?
Are you cranky with your children because you are worried about providing for them? Please remember how sharp and deep the words can cut and sear in a moment of unconscious attack.
I know that you do not want to create more consequences of pain for others when you are cornered with fear and uncertainty.
